Charles Weindorf has been a lifelong fan of fiction, particularly SciFi and Fantasy. He began writing in these genres at the age of 12 with a novelette called The Tycho Disaster – a story of alien conflict on a base within the crater on Earth’s moon. In his 20s, he created three novels and a short story anthology while working with a literary agent.

After years honing his skills in Info Tech team management, he next took up non-fiction writing. His leadership communication book, “Leaders and Software Engineers: Communicate and Motivate without Speaking in Code” is his definitive work on building and encouraging a winning engineering team.

But his desire to write fiction never waned so, in 1993, he created an outline and pilot chapters of a fledgling human empire spreading across our nearest stars. Exploration finds the presser species on a primitive world. The pressers, although lacking eyes, ears and speech, begin to mysteriously influence the chain of human worlds… until human fate seems captive in these alien hands.

Now, 30 years later, that outline and pilot chapters have grown into his most significant SciFi work: “Comets of Omen: The Presser Arc.”
